On May 13, the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy held a roundtable on support for farmers whose land is located in combat zones or occupied territories.
During the event, participants discussed a legislative initiative to introduce a benefit for payments for the use of state-owned land plots subleased to agricultural producers.
The purpose of the initiative is to create a state support mechanism that would help restore economic activity in government-controlled territories, preserve human capital, and strengthen the resilience of the agricultural sector.
