The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has presented the digital platform AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System), which will serve as a unified environment providing farmers with access to knowledge, innovations, and practical solutions.
The platform integrates analytics, scientific materials, and applied recommendations for agribusiness operations. As of today, it already includes more than 260 publications aimed at improving production efficiency and supporting the implementation of modern approaches. A dedicated forum is also available on the platform, enabling interaction between agricultural producers, researchers, and government representatives. This allows users not only to access information but also to ask questions, discuss practical challenges, and find solutions within a professional environment.
The platform has been developed in line with European standards as part of the EU4SmallFarms project, which focuses on aligning Ukraine’s agricultural sector with EU requirements.
The launch of AKIS is expected to simplify access to expert knowledge and accelerate the adoption of modern technologies in agribusiness.
